What Does Food Taste Like

What Does Food Taste LikeWhat Does Food Taste Like

The biggest challenge we face today in reclaiming our health (mental and physical), losing weight, gaining brain clarity, increasing productivity and practically anything else you can desire is the challenge of learning: What does food taste like?

We no longer expect food to taste like real food.  The processed food companies have schooled us to expect our food to taste like sugar, highly processed flour, salt and bad fat.  They have taught us “food” should be soft and have no fiber or substance. The “food” they have created is extremely addictive too. We can’t cut our favorites loose to save ourselves. We are addicted to the rush of the sugar and the processed flour which converts to sugar and then to fat. No wonder so many of us struggle with our weight.

When the different forms of sugar hit our brain, they trigger the release of dopamine which is that “feel good” chemical we love. The problem is the rush doesn’t last for long, and we want another fix. We eat and eat because it makes us feel good for a while. We eat and eat because the food that is giving us the rush has little to no nutritional value so our bodies think we are starving and crave nutrition. We are cued we need food so we keep eating- we are hungry because we eat nothing nutritious – we eat more and our sugar levels skyrocket and then drop – we feel weak and hungry so we eat more…it doesn’t end, and it won’t as long as we eat fake food.

I don’t want you to concentrate on eating less. I don’t want you to go on a diet. I think the concept of food restriction is frightening for many of us just as the removal of drugs or alcohol is for someone who has an addiction.

Please don’t buy the diet junk they’re pushing on TV like it’s the end of the world, and they’re here to save you. Saving you is not their objective. Their bottom line, not the size of your bottom is their motivation. What’s even in that food anyway? It’s still highly processed which is the whole point I’m trying to make here.

I want you to try, just for the rest of this month, to eat some real food. Eat an apple and a handful of nuts for a snack instead of a muffin or a bagel and cream cheese. What I teach isn’t hard; you just need a road map to find your way back to food…real food. The way I show you to cook isn’t hard. I’m busy; I don’t have a ton of time either. Once you get the map and the directions, it’s easy. Believe it or not, working with, making and eating real food can actually become a fun, enjoyable experience.

The odds are extremely high you’ll experience weight loss, brain clarity, better mood and more energy. Why not begin the year with a plan I know, from my own personal experience, works.

Please begin by going to https://ThinStrongHealthy.com and downloading the 60+ Names of Sugar list you can get on the right hand side of the page.

It really is simple to save yourself and lose weight. You don’t need to buy diet food; you don’t need to support some celebrity-touted fake diet plan. You don’t need to wonder anymore…what does food taste like?

I don’t just teach it; I live it!
