Practice gratitude…it’s a wonderful way to begin and end the day
Practice gratitude
Because eating well to live healthy is an ongoing learning process, I like to keep up with what others are doing and investigating.
I received an email with a link to this post from another health blogger whom I follow and thought it was something you might enjoy reading. It’s a basic, simple way to step back and appreciate where you are and what you have.
It’s a fast read; please let me know what you think. It’s about a quick shift in your mood by “appreciating”
I take a minute twice a day, usually before I eat breakfast and dinner to slow down my breathing and do what I call practicing gratitude. I close my eyes and breath in and out slowly to a count of 7. After a few breaths I think about what in my life I am grateful for. It’s a wonderfully grounding exercise that doesn’t take much time at all.
