If you hate to diet, read this
There are a couple of recurring themes I hear from people when I try (and I always try) to impress upon them the importance to their long-term health and well-being of switching to a healthier, cleaner diet. Those themes are: I hate to diet; I don’t want to give up the foods I love; and how do I get started…it’s so hard to change! I’m glad you asked, because we’re going to talk about these three challenges in this post!
First, I understand you hate to diet. No one enjoys it. Garfield once pointed out that diet is “Die with a T”…Dieting screams misery and deprivation. It also indicates it is temporary, which is why people lose weight, gain it back, diet again and again only to lose and gain many times. By the way, did you know that this yo-yo dieting actually makes it harder for your body to lose weight? Your body thinks it’s starving and tries to save you by holding on to the weight you are so desperately trying to lose! I don’t believe in dieting!!!!! I believe in a life style of eating that serves and maintains your long term health and well-being. A life style of eating that keeps your system alkaline, your blood sugar level and the inflammation in your body down.
Second. Just because you are committed to a cleaner, healthier diet doesn’t mean you will never have an ice cream sundae again! Once you’ve gotten your body cleaned out and straightened out by eating a clean, simple diet, and your health issues have normalized, you can treat yourself once in a while. This does not mean you will be living on treats however! It will be the exception. Just last weekend, we went to our favorite ice cream place, and I had a hot fudge sundae with raspberry chocolate chip ice cream, whipped cream, not nuts. It was amazing! I loved it, and because I eat so well, it didn’t affect me negatively at all. You can do this too, but first, you must commit to eating whole unprocessed food and to getting your body’s issues corrected with a better, cleaner style of eating.
Finally, I know it’s hard to get started, and to that end, I have help for you in the form of a FREE gift! It’s a report on How to Do a Body Detox. In this report, there are several different types of detoxes for you to try; some are easier than others. In fact, one or two are great ways to eat on a regular basis. Pick up the free report, try one or two of the detoxes, and let me know what you think.
I know our food supply is confusing out there, and I know you hate to diet. The processed food industry wants it that way so they can keep us addicted to and constantly craving their engineered stuff that isn’t good for us. With the three subjects discussed in this post, you are way ahead of the others in moving toward a better life with a healthier body!
